Building on the incredible momentum from our inaugural season, we're kicking off our second year with a huge thank you to our generous donors and all who supported our fundraising efforts. The greater-than-anticipated interest in our program led to higher startup costs than we initially planned, and we are incredibly grateful for the donations that helped us complete our initial wave of equipment purchases. This remarkable support allowed us to equip our archers with all the essentials needed for a successful season.

While we've secured the foundational gear like targets, bows, and safety curtains, the costs for our second season remain high. To provide each archer with a full, competitive season, the cost per archer is approximately $1,445. This covers a wide range of essential items and services: tournament registration fees, insurance, coaching, practice shirts, tournament jerseys, as well as consumables like paper target faces and scorecards.
We remain committed to our founding principle: to make this sport inclusive to all young women at the Ann Richards School. Your continued support is crucial in helping us offset these costs and ensure every student has the opportunity to experience the discipline, focus, and camaraderie that comes with being a part of the ARS Archery Team.
