Cap city cup

What: 

The ARS archery team is proud to host the the second Cap City Cup as a state qualifier event for Austin area schools. The event will be held at Ann Richards School and its participants will include several local elementary, middle, and high schools. The performance of all participating teams in the Cap City Cup will determine whether or not they will qualify to participate the NASP Texas State Championship in San Antonio, TX in March 2026.

Archers may optionally participate in a 3D format. Flight times will begin at 1pm on Saturday and mirror the times for bullseye (flights #4-12). 

Registration: 

Registration will open at 8am on Saturday, January 10th and will close at 10pm on Sunday, January 18th. We can accommodate 42 archers per flight in bullseye, so we should be able to support all Austin-area archers who want to participate. If you have a strong preference for flight time, be sure to register early to reserve your spot. We will share a link to registration here in early January.

Cost: Bullseye registration is $18 and 3D registration is $18, plus the service fee. Archers MUST participate in bullseye to participate in 3D. Archers may choose to only participate in bullseye.

Logistics and Parking: 

We encourage all archers arrive 30 minutes before your flight begins so that you have time to make your way through the building, grab your scorecard, stow your bow case, and warm up. Please park in the student parking lot and follow the arrows to enter the building. You will enter through the courtyard and get your scorecard in the main hallway. Once you store your belongings in the main hallway, you'll make your way to the big gym for the bullseye competition. [Maps will be posted in mid-January]

Results

Results will be posted after the conclusion of each flight. A link will be provided once the tournament begins.
